Core slot & maths terms
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| RTP | Return to Player — the long-run percentage of wagers a game pays back over millions of spins. Money Coming publishes 97% at its top tier. |
| House edge | The casino's long-run margin: 100% minus RTP. A 97% slot carries a 3% house edge. |
| Volatility / variance | How a game distributes wins — low means small and frequent, high means rare and large. Independent of RTP. |
| Max win | The capped maximum payout as a multiple of the stake, e.g. Money Coming's 10,000×. |
| Multiplier | A factor that boosts a win. Money Coming's special 4th reel adds multipliers up to ×10. |
| Respin | A re-spin of the reels while the current win is held, letting wins chain — a key Money Coming feature. |
| Ways to win | Payout model counting adjacent matches across reels instead of fixed lines, e.g. 1024 ways on Super Ace. |
| RNG | Random Number Generator — certified software that makes every spin independent and unpredictable. |

Sports-betting terms you'll meet in the PH market
- Moneyline — a bet simply on who wins, with no points involved; odds reflect each side's chance.
- Handicap / spread — a points head-start or deduction applied to level an uneven match.
- Over/Under (totals) — a bet on whether the combined score finishes above or below a set number.
- Parlay / accumulator — several bets combined into one; all must win, so the risk and payout both climb.
- Odds — the price of a bet, expressing both potential payout and implied probability.
- Stake / unit — the amount risked on a bet; disciplined bettors size it as a small percentage of bankroll.
- Cash out (sports) — settling a bet early for a partial return before the event ends — distinct from a casino cashout.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between RTP and volatility?
RTP is how much a game pays back over the long run — 97% for Money Coming. Volatility is how those payouts are shaped: low means small and frequent, high means rare and large. Two slots can share an RTP yet feel completely different.
What does 'moneyline' mean in PH sports betting?
A moneyline bet is simply on which team or player wins, with no handicap applied. The odds reflect each side's chance — favourites pay less, underdogs pay more. It is the simplest sports bet to start with.
Is a casino cashout the same as a sports cash out?
No. A casino cashout is withdrawing your balance to GCash or a bank. A sports 'cash out' means settling an open bet early for a partial return before the match finishes. Same words, different actions.
